Camille Bertault

A great artist is born

To celebrate the release of her album Pas de géant, in reference to Giant Steps by Coltrane, singer Camille Bertault will perform a concert with refined notes and mischievous lyrics. Beyond her stunning scatting talents, the composer and lyricist appropriates the greatest compositions: Bill Evans, Wayne Shorter, but also Serge Gainsbourg or Georges Brassens. Her taste for words and humor added to the tone of the Giant Steps solo make the track Là où tu vas a beautiful tribute to the famous saxophonist. From classical piano to French chanson via jazz, her album traces the itinerary of a well-rounder artist. With her spontaneity, her sense of rhythm, her sensual and rebellious timber, Camiller Bertault manages to make us travel through her multicolored universe.
