Portal – Peirani – Parisien

This incredible meeting reunites two generations and two famous duet: Michel Portal/Vincent Peirani and Vincent Peirani/Emile Parisien.

The amazing saxophone, clarinet and bandoneon player will celebrate his eighty-fourth birthday and his prolific career awarded multiple times. He is undoubtedly an improvisation master and loves to explore and venture out different genres: between jazz, classical music and film music, he’s always kept the link with the younger generation. For this exceptional Trio, he asked two very talented musicians: the accordion player Vincent Peirani, and the saxophone player Emile Parisien.

Apart from their talent, they also share complicity, energy, an audacity, and an amazing stage presence. They also share a poetic and festive album that came out in 2014 and untitled “Belle époque” (Golden Age).

Vincent Peirani was awarded with the “Artist of the year” award at the Victoires du Jazz in 2014 and shares the same enthusiasm and passion for the musical adventure.

For the first time, those three musicians will be reunited on a stage in Paris, in one of the most beautiful Church. This night promises a musical journey full of unexpected colors. Discover a light and virtuoso dialogue, between tradition and improvisation. A rare trio to close this year’s edition amazingly.
