A BRILLIANT FUSION OF JAZZ AND ORIENTAL TRADITION

Etibar Asadli is one of Azerbaijan’s most talented jazzmen and pianist-composers. Winner of numerous international competitions with his jazz blending both acoustic and electronic sounds, he has toured the four corners of the globe, mesmerizing audiences at every one of his concerts. In 2015, he settled in Paris and released his album “Mugham”, a compilation of his musical projects in which traditional Azerbaijani compositions are revisited with the imperious rhythms of jazz!

Trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf recently said of him: “He’s one of the musicians I love most on the musical planet at the moment”. A must-see!
