MUSIC OF THE IMAGINATION, CONTEMPLATIVE AND ENCHANTING
Cellist and composer Adèle Viret is described as one of the most promising young musicians of her generation. Created in 2023, her jazz quartet has performed on prestigious stages (more than 50 concerts in 2025, including Jazz in Marciac and Jazzahead!), revealing a unique and highly sensitive musical universe.
Her first album, Close to the Water, released in late 2024, received praise from the press, including the Révélation Jazz Magazine and Indispensable Jazz News awards. In 2025, Adèle won the Victoires du Jazz award in the “Révélation” category.
For this project, the cellist has woven a harmonious tapestry of compositions with Mediterranean accents, around which her cello blends with the complementary trio of piano, trumpet, and drums.
In the intimate setting of the Théâtre de l’Alliance Française, where the artists are so close, Adèle Viret’s melodious jazz will undoubtedly take you on a unique and intoxicating journey.
