Album "Immersion"

A unique and extraordinary talent

Since the release of her albums “Same Girl” in 2010 and “Lento” in 2013 (both went gold in France and Germany) South Korean singer-songwriter Youn Sun Nah resides in France and sells out shows all across the globe. Over the course of 10 years, her intense and deeply moving voice has made her one of the greatest jazz singers in the world.

For her tenth album “Immersion”, she has recruited producer and multi-instrumentalist Clément Ducol, arranger to Camille and Melody Gardot. In her endless quest for freedom, Youn Sun Nah offers us a musical gem, confirming the incomparable range of her vocal skills, mixing her own electropop-infused compositions with personal covers (Marvin Gaye, Leonard Cohen, Michel Legrand, George Harrison…)

In keeping with the exceptional concerts taking place for eleven years in this iconic venue (Michel Legrand, Melnie de Biasio, Erik Truffaz, Yaron Herman/Michel Portal/Matthieu Chedid…) and for her only Paris concert, the talented singer will immerse her audience in a fascinating world, accompanied by two highly-coveted contemporary jazz multi-instrumentalists: Tomek Miernowski at the guitar and the keyboard and Rémi Vignolo at the bass and the drums.
