Monnaie de Paris

France’s national monetary institution, the Monnaie de Paris, is a true gem of French heritage. Located in the heart of Paris within an 18th-century palace, it is the world’s oldest enterprise, continuing the mission entrusted to it by the King of France in 864: minting currency for the state. Throughout the centuries, the institution has told the story of France while evolving and expanding internationally, all while preserving its identity and expertise.

Today, the Monnaie de Paris combines artistic craftsmanship with the creation of exceptional pieces—medals, coins, decorations, and objets d’art—produced within its historic workshops on the Quai de Conti. At the same time, it maintains high-level industrial expertise with its Pessac (Gironde) factory, where both French and foreign circulating coins are minted. Innovation and creativity are the guiding principles behind these exceptional products.

For the first time, the festival will take place in the magnificent Cour d’Honneur of the Monnaie de Paris, hosting two unique concerts that will undoubtedly leave their mark on the history of this iconic venue.
